J&R Festival in the Park!

The 2008 J&R Music Fest at City Hall Park in New York City!Solange doing her thing on stage. I think this girl has got some talent. I don't think that Papa Knowles would have it any other way. He would be like Joe Jackson when he tried to get rid of Marlon when he couldn't keep up with Michael.

Beyonce was there supporting her baby sis. Even on the light weight tip, this girl always looks good. I like that she always takes the low road when it is her sister or one of her girl's turn to shine!

Okay, so Terrance Howard is really serious about this singing thing. I'm going to have to really check him out, because looking at him here gives me flashback of him performing in 'The Best Man' and I remember being impressed. Triple threat Mr. Howard-that's what they call him!

And Michelle giving it her all. I have new respect for Michelle. I used to think that she always looked scared and that she looked like the check out clerk at Walmart. But after I saw her in 'The Color purple', I have to give this girl some serious dap! She did that well!

Beyonce's Skin and Hair

The Loreal Ad (photo on the right) has been attracting alot of attention in the last week. The photo on the right is a more realistic of Beyonce with her natural skin coloring. There has been alot of concern that Loreal 'lightened' Beyonce's photo to make her look fairer.

I think that I am more concerned with the fact that it looks like she has on a wig, rather than her actual hair. I mean, I'm just pointing out the obvious...... it is a hair advertizement.
