Madonna kicks off her tour!

All I can say is WOW! Madonna is 50 and she looks fantabulous! This woman must have found a way to exercises and crunches while she is sleep- her body contains no fat, only muscle. I think I hate her. Madonna opened up in Cardiff, Walsh in front of a crowd of 40,000 fans. Madonna is a perfectionist and I know that this show is what entertainment is all about.

Obama picks Joe Biden as his Vice President!

Obama sent out an important text message early Saturday morning to his milliions of supporters! The Obama camp supporters were the first to learn that Obama has picked Senator Joe Biden as his Vice President. As reported in People:After several intense days of media speculation, Sen. Barack Obama has announced that six-term Sen. Joseph Biden of Delaware will be his running mate on the Democratic ticket for President. At a rally in Springfield, Ill., on Saturday – where Obama first launched his campaign – he revved up the excited crowd and introduced Biden, who bounded up the stage to Bruce Springstreen's "The Rising." "Joe Biden is that rare mix – for decades, he has brought change to Washington, but Washington hasn't changed him," said Obama. Praising him as a working-class success story and as a deft foreign policy expert who has "stared down dictators."

I'm glad that the choice has been made and now we can move ahead!

Da Brat is going to Jail!



Da Brat was sentenced to three years for hitting a woman over the head in a nightclub with a bottle in 2007. The Judge also sentenced her to 7 years of probation.
Da Brat whose real name is Shawntae Harris was reportedly very emotional as her family broke down and cried as she was led out the court room.
All I can say is these celebrities are still acting up when it is apparent that Judges are not playing with them and don't care about who they are or who they know. IAnd is it really a shocker that you got jail time? You hit someone in the head with a bottle; what did you think would happen? Also, Da Brat knows that she should have been behaving.....I mean once Martha Stewart went to jail, all bets were off! That should have been a message to all that anyone can go at anytime!

Shaq, what were you thinking? No, actually the real question is were you thinking? An unknown rapper out of Atlanta who goes by Mary Jane has made charges that Shaq has been harrassing her and threatening to cause her bodily harm. She is alleging that Shaq and her recently ended an affair and that now he is threatening to ruin her career (picture above indicates where the career was going) and hurt her. Interestingly enough, he made threats to pay off record industry contacts with $50,000 not to promote her in any way.
Shaq apparently wasn't sure if the threats alone made him the dumbest player in the NBA, so he sent out (positive proof) text messages to follow up with her and to make sure that she can get as much money out of him as possible.
According to court docs Shaq wrote her one email that reads, "I dnt no who the fuk u think u dealin wit u will neva be heard from one phone call is all I gotta make no try me. Sho me."The docs also allege Shaq sent her "an unsolicited vulgar and offensive illustration of a man physically restraining a woman while forcing her to engage in sexual intercourse with him."
What in the world was he thinking? Did he think that she would keep quiet? Wow!

The only thing that I can think of that may have pushed shaq into this kind of desperate act is that he recently reunited with his wife and he wanted to put extra on it to make sure that Sister Shaunie didn't find out. Dumb, Dumb, Dumb!

Jason Lee and Ceren welcome a girl!

Jason Lee and his girlfriend Ceren Alkac welcomed a baby girl on August 10th. The couple have not named their daughter yet (what is up with celebrities not naming their children when they are born). This is Jason's 2nd child; his first child Pilot Inspektor(on second thought take your time and come up with a good name this time) is from a previous relationship with Beth Reisgraf.

Ricky Martin is a Daddy!

That 'Living la vida Loca' sensation Ricky Martin has become the father of twin boys via a surrogate mother a couple of weeks ago. Ricky is delighted and reports that he has always wanted to be a father and he loves children. He plans on taking a year off (from what?) to care exclusively for his boys.
Ricky is the 2nd entertainer to become a father via a surrogate mother. American Idol Clay Aiken became the father of a son through a surrogate as well. I wonder what else Ricky and Clay have in common?

Okay, so newlywed Chris Kattan has filed for a separation from his wife model Sunshine Tutt. They met in 2005 and dated for 3 years before tying the knot two months ago. Two months ago? These things I never really get, I mean they dated for three years, what changed in two months?

And, it's kind of funny because when you have money you can get fed up and separate or divorce immediately. When your are poor the last thing you want to even think about is that you have irreconcilable differences after two months, because all you're thinking is that the wedding isn't even paid for yet.

Beyonce was there supporting her baby sis. Even on the light weight tip, this girl always looks good. I like that she always takes the low road when it is her sister or one of her girl's turn to shine!

Okay, so Terrance Howard is really serious about this singing thing. I'm going to have to really check him out, because looking at him here gives me flashback of him performing in 'The Best Man' and I remember being impressed. Triple threat Mr. Howard-that's what they call him!

And Michelle giving it her all. I have new respect for Michelle. I used to think that she always looked scared and that she looked like the check out clerk at Walmart. But after I saw her in 'The Color purple', I have to give this girl some serious dap! She did that well!

Ok, first of all, I still think of Ray J as Brandy's little brother inspite of the various sex tapes and things that he has put out. But apparently, VH1 sees him as something more. It looks like they are giving him his own Bachelor/Flav type show where he is trying to find his true love! I can already visualize the fake heartfelt plea to find his soulmate that Ray J will deliver as he explains why he has decided to do this show.
